With the rapid development of information and telecommunication technologies such as the Internet, Honjo Chemical recognizes the growing social demand for the protection of identifiable private information such as individual, company and organization names, addresses, and e-mail addresses, and the company is responsible to take appropriate measures to manage such information, and has established the following policy.

Any information relating to an individual customer, such as the customer’s name, representing company name, address, contact telephone number, e-mail address and others, (hereinafter referred to as “personal information”) that has been disclosed to our company will be properly secured using reasonable technical measures to prevent unauthorized access, loss, alteration or leakage.

In the case of collecting personal information, a notice explaining the purpose of collecting personal data will be sent out prior to collecting necessary personal information.

Subject to the nature of an inquiry, our affiliated companies, subcontractors, and business partners will be delegated to provide an appropriate reply. For this purpose, therefore, collected personal information may be forwarded to these affiliations.

In accordance with 3. above, the company will take every measure to protect the disclosed personal information to third parties are strictly managed at the same level as the company.

Unless otherwise required by law or any other special circumstances, the company shall not disclose or provide personal information to any third party, including our affiliates, subcontractors, or partners, without prior permission from our customer.
